Original post: Governor Cuomo has announced (in partnership with Governor Murphy & Governor Lamont) that NY, NJ and CT will impose a mandatory 14 day quarantine for individuals traveling from states with significant community spread.
I am announcing with @GovMurphy and @GovNedLamont a joint travel advisory. All individuals traveling from states with significant community spread of COVID into NY, NJ, or CT must quarantine for 14 days.
This travel advisory is effective midnight tonight.

This goes into effect at midnight tonight. The current states that are considered to have significant community spread are: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Utah & Washington. For those that are found to be breaking this fines of $2,000-$10,000 and forced quarantine will be imposed.
