Our Verdict
Interestingly the promo works on Office Depot/Max branded gift cards. Unfortunately it doesn’t work on third party gift cards (as those are sold through gift card mall and don’t actually get added to your Office Depot cart). Office Depot/Max gift cards can be resold for 86% of face value publicly so no real resale play here. Make sure you use a card that earns at a high rate on office supply store purchases. Go through a portal as well (won’t work on gift cards). Visa Savings Edge will also stack for another 10% discount.
