The Fine Print
- To qualify for the bonus, all accounts in your chosen bundle must meet the minimum deposit requirement within the first 45 days of opening ($500 in either checking or savings at the Essential tier; $500 in both checking and savings at the Empower tier; $1,000 in each account opened at the Excel tier).
- Debit card and direct deposit are required for all bundles to receive the bonus and must be initiated within the first 45-days.
- Bonuses will be credited within 60 days of meeting qualifications.
- Account closure within the first 6 months may result in forfeiture of the account bonus.
- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them
