[Expired] Peacock Premium (Ad Supported): 4 Months For $9.99

Deal has ended, view more Peacock Premium deals by clicking here.

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Peacock Premium is offering four months of the ad supported version for $9.99

The Fine Print

  • Offer valid through April 9th, 2021 or while promotion lasts.

Our Verdict

Stack with the AmEx offer as well to get an additional $4.99 back. You can try going through a portal as well for another $6 back, but I don’t think that will stack with this deal as the URLs are different.  This enrolls you in auto billing as well, so you’ll be charged $4.99 per month after the 4 month period. There are also frequent promo codes for Peacock Premium that give free months.

Harry Potter movies all got pulled w/o warning. Seems like they tried to lure people into this “longer term deal” knowing this would happen. Definitely not worth it anymore.

I can confirm that I was able to get this as a previously existing Premium user. I cancelled it (downgraded to free), and one day after my regular Premium plan was done and I was at free I used the link and the offer was valid. Nice stack with American Express. Amex emailed immediately saying I redeemed that offer.

Paying for ads, another crap service

Paying less because of ads. If you don’t want the ads, you can pay a little extra for the ad-free tier. And if you don’t want to pay anything, you can use their free-tier.

Peacock’s tiers and the pricing of their tiers are all fairly reasonable. A free-tier (but with a limited library), a mid-tier version ad supported version with the full library, and a top-tier ad-free version with the full library.

Choices. And none of them are bad choices. Sometimes there is a decoy choice of a service/product to make the other choices more appealing. But all of the choices here are fair for the asking price (at least I think they are all fair).

Don’t you actually have to have Xfinity? The only reason I could see paying for Peacock is those that don’t have cable, if that.

There’s the sports events that don’t appear on cable or on a channel that someone that might not get

Still, my sister, who has cable, found nothing worthwhile in the Peacock line up

Might be decent for the Olympics, especially if you’re into a less popular sport, but that’s a one-time event

All I have is xfinity internet. They even gave me a free streaming box. The only thing I pay for is the internet.

That’s how I access the peacock library. It does still have ads which is annoying when you think about how they took the office + parks n rec from an ad free service (Netflix) to now ads even with paying …

The ads get real annoying after a while, and I do not like that there is no native app for my Samsung TV but they do have some good content. The Rakuten has $6 back and BofA still has a $5 off offer. I do not think I had an Amex offer on my cards but I need to double-check, I guess.

Cashback Monitor says that Rakuten has $6, but when I actually look at it in Rakuten it says coupons only.

@Peek. Do you not pay for cable?
I agree that paying for a monthly subscription that has advertisements is a bit contradictory.

I bought it using the link above.

Used Fake Email.

Paid with Amex Blue for $9.99

Got Amex email stating I completed the offer ($4.99).

So I paid $5 bucks for 4 months ($1.25/month)

Calendar invite for 07/08/2021 to cancel.

Thanks to DoC

@Rick James “Used Fake Email”
Is that fake as in not a real email address (e.g., [email protected]) or a real email that you don’t use.

If Peacock had enough content it would be a good deal, especially if you have a Chase/BoA offer. I never got the Amex credit when I subscribed the first time.

I think you confused Peacock Premium and Paramount+ are not the same. Peacock is the NBCU streaming service.
