Priority Pass Adds The Club At PIT To Pittsburgh International (PIT)

Priority pass has added The Club At PIT to it’s lounge network. They just opened in their new location in Concourse C (across from Gate C52 between Bar Symon and Kidsport) and is open from 4AM until 9PM daily.  The lounge provides the following:

  • All inclusive premium spirits, beer, wine and sodas
  • Light snacks, soups and salads
  • WiFi
  • Business spaces (e.g computers & printers)

Normally access costs $40 but is free for Priority Pass, LoungeKey, Lounge Club & Diners Club International members.  This ties in with Priority Passes strategy of targeting airports where they have no lounge presence, in recent times they have made the following additions:

Had a chance to visit this lounge this weekend and was impressed! It’s a reasonable size, the food options were solid (pierogies, soft pretzels, kale and cabbage with sausage, plus crudités, hummus, olives, cheeses, pita, various flavored popcorn and chips. There was a fridge with soda and water, one of those nice touchscreen espresso machines, and cocktail service through a waitress. Seats were nice, with different areas, all within an arm’s reach of power. Honestly couldn’t ask for much more. Much nicer than the Minute Suites at PHL airport.

I’m a Pittsburgher and was thrilled even with the temporary Club space. (I don’t love the Admiral’s Club at PIT, so it didn’t take much to impress me.) When we were in the temporary Club a couple of weeks ago, the hostess said the permanent location will serve hot breakfast.

We have road trips coming up, so have to wait until we fly in January to check out the bigger, permanent Club. They do check that you have a boarding pass. I was thinking it would be nice to pop in for a drink when I go shopping in the airport during the holidays. But I don’t think they’ll let me in.

Sorry for the question here I am very new to PP and fly infrequently.

I got my PP from my CSR, does that mean I may get into this lounge for free and I get complimentary drink?

Do I get a free guest or do I pay the $27/40 entry free? Thank you to anyone who helps or reads

As a PIT flyer, I’m excited for this. Though I’m an Admirals Club member and an AA frequent flyer, so we’ll see if this is actually better than the PIT Admirals Club. Many of my less frequent traveling friends with the Chase Sapphire Reserve are looking forward to this.

Have you been to many PP lounges? The ones I’ve been to – especially in the US – are not better.

The worst PP lounge I have ever been to in the US is Wingtips at JFK, and that is still better than Admirals Club at PIT.
