At the moment Chase & United are offering a sign up bonus of 70,000 miles + $50. Unfortunately the offer is targeted, but lots of readers have had success in getting targeted by using the United MPX app to make a purchase. Another option is to use the United Shopping Portal to make a purchase (they currently have a bonus as well) . Neither of these methods are particularly new (we first posted about both in early 2016) but it’s always nice to have a reminder. That 70k + $50 offer is currently due to expire on July 31st so using either method is unlikely to get you targeted in time but the offers are often extended. Also keep in mind that the Chase 5/24 rule applies to this card so the majority of you won’t be eligible.
