Up until today it’s been possible to get a $100 Amazon gift card for signing up to personal capital. That deal is no longer available but people are slowly receiving the $100 Amazon gift code. One thing many people have reported is that there e-mail says their code is only for $50, thankfully once entered it clearly displays the $100 Amazon code.
Is anyone who referred people still waiting for some gift cards? I just got one today but I think I’m missing a half dozen or so.
And I just got an email from them saying that they need a W-9 filled out to report my referral income to the IRS :(.
Can anyone suggest a good place to sell Amazon gift cards safely and easily? I was surprised that the usual sites that buy gift cards weren’t buying Amazon. I regifted a few for Chanukah and will keep a few but wouldn’t mind cashing out a few.

I am so disappointed. Signed up and was told my bonus was approved and processed on 11/8. I signed up on 10/22. I never received any email and have checked quarantined messages. Someone has said this already, but if PC can’t even respond with a human on the phone or keep track of referral bonuses, why should I trust them with my assets?
Because it’s handled by a completely different department and clearly they were overwhelmed by the response to this offer? Did you even speak to the rep who presumably tried to call you to try to get you to become a customer or did you just do it to get their $100?
Both my wife and I signed up for it on the same day. I have received the email with a $100 Amazon code from Personal Capital. However, my wife hasn’t. She has unsubscribed from some emails from Personal Capital and that’s probably the reason for her not getting that $100 Amazon GC email. Is there any way to retrieve the $100 Amazon GC code? I got mine two days ago. I signed up and linked the first day that the $100 was posting here using a referral link.
My email also said $50, but was $100 when redeemed.
Even the people who received their GCs in October were reporting the same ’email says $50 but GC redeems for $100′ thing happening.
I applied 10/14 and got GC on 11/8.
Subject said $100, body said $50, actual GC was $100.
Wife and I signed up 2-3 weeks ago. We both got the bonus today. It said $50, but was good for the full $100.
What have you done to the real Will? Way too many typos in a short post. Also agree with taro that this is an odd tip. Guess they can’t all be gems.
