We previously reported that RadPad was earning 3x points on the Chase Sapphire Reserve when you used Apple or Android Pay. It seems like opportunity might already be over with some new data points of it not working:
I don’t want to definitively call this dead just yet, but it’s not looking good at this stage. If this is the case then it’s really a question of whether RadPad changed their merchant category code or if Chase changed how that code (or specifically RadPad purchases) earn points. This has implications for Plastiq as well.
