Cuomo will do anything to deflect attention away from the deaths of NY seniors in nursing homes due to his policies and then tried to cover up. And then there are those growing sexual harassment cases, how many women now, 5?
Great timing on the Broadway reopening, 100% seating? Just in front of fall flu season. It should be interesting.
To be fair, outrage only lasts one to two news cycles. After that, people just lose interest or forget until the next new thing to be outraged about presents itself. It’s also very hard to be outraged at every possible issue, so people are forced to pick and choose: do I be outraged at the governor for his specific acts of negligence and misconduct, or do I be outraged about systemic institutionalized injustice that is too broad to do anything about but trends well in social media?
By the time New Yorkers start buying pumpkin spice lattes, restaurants will be operating at full capacity again and allegations against Cuomo will be buried beneath headlines about how the local economy has roared back to life. Personally, I’ve lost all interest in Broadway shows in the past year: I don’t miss rubbing shoulders with loud rude tourists waiting in line for the restroom at intermission inside an old, gross, asbestos-ridden midtown theater that has been renamed four times and renovated seven times just to conceal just how old and gross it is.
I’m outraged by your explanation of outrage

Huh?
Instead, this time we get to learn about some stone at an ‘obscure’ border… :/
Hi Jay, we will have a dedicated post on this soon.
Thanks, Cuomo. Many a resting bitch face will twitch ever so slightly towards a smile for a fraction of a second over this news.
Good luck with that. NYC is back to the 70s. Muggings, stabbings, financial problems. Great time to be in the suburbs away from the “urban” centers.
So you saying it looks like 110th Street is moving down.
J2 This guy gets it 😉
lol ok
Also Rockland Trust Company is also in the process of acquiring East Boston Savings Bank.
The big keep getting bigger.
