My mom says she gets a tickle in her throat when eating almonds. Excuse me, Mr. Gate Agent! We will be needing to pre-board.
This seems unnecessary. Why can’t people with allergies clean their seating area at their assigned boarding time?
I was going to make a joke about the tickle at the back of your mom’s throat being from other nuts, but that seemed uncalled for! LOL
FYI. i wouldve enjoyed such a comment. totally relevant.
I just learned I have a nut allergy too. Give me extra time to get to my seat, clean it off, and find my snacks for the plane, namely snickers paydays and Mr. goodbars.
Given the state of United and AA, everyone should want to clean their own seat anyway.
I seem to be having sudden onset of nut allergy.
This nut thing is going to be like the emotional support animal thing. People will take advantage of it.
And since there’s zero prep required (you just say you have a nut allergy) very easy to screw around with.
So now I’ll just board after military personnel, elderly and disabled people requiring additional time and assistance, persons traveling with children, people claiming to have a nut allergy, Concierge Key members, First Class, Executive Platinum, One World Emerald, Platinum Pro, Platinum and Oneworld Sapphire. I’ll board with other Gold, Oneworld Ruby, anyone who has an AA credit card and anyone who felt like paying extra to be in my group.
At some point it’s just a heck of a lot easier to wait until LAST CALL so you don’t have to spend 15 minutes in line on the jetbridge waiting for half the plane ahead of you to board. You just walk onto the plane, everyone’s seated, and you just slide into your seat.
Wow, I thought you were making a joke but that’s the actual boarding order….
Completely agree, the worst part of traveling is guessing when exactly to leave the lounge to get on the plane dead last. Problem is, these days lots of airlines announce final call well in advance of “actual” final call.
so hilarious everyone makes fun of WN cattle call. they must have nut allergies cuz all legacies are the same shit unless ur J/F IMHO. only difference is the emotional mindset that you have an assigned seat.
It’s a bit more than “emotional mindset” it’s ACTUALLY HAVING the assigned seat.
