Does the EC261 provision apply to US passengers taking a trip from the US to Norway and back on Norwegian Air?

Haha. They gave us the china virus and now reverse discrimination.

China needs to be sued by the world for monetary damages. They had a warning with SARS. They continued with their wet markets.

And it is called china virus, wuhan virus, xi Jinping virus or ccp virus. Pick one and stick to it.

By calling it the CCP coronavirus, there is no racism involved and the only hate you direct is at the government. The people are awesome but the government is evil. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGOki3FcqnI

China bought us 2 months time to prepare for it. Remember what we did. Our dear president showered us with optimism, kept the stock market rising, did nearly nothing to prepare for this material risk. Oh wait, he did do something that he is best at”shutting down borders” again

China gov dropped the ball big time on this one. A multi-trillion dollar mistake and many lifes lost. The China gov finally shut down the live animal markets that will cost some 16 million workers their jobs in China.

Could China have done a better job in containing it? Yes they could have. But look at what is going on around the world. The rate of spread in Italy, USA, Spain is even worse than China. And this is after multiple officials from the Trump administration and Trump himself claimed we had nothing to worry about. What China did was the same. Did the United States have to pay for the Spanish flu? Did the British pay for forcing opium into China for 150 years or did they pay for stealing Hong Kong? Italian doctor’s actually were actually talking about a weird virus with flu like symptoms in early November (source: https://www.npr.org/2020/03/19/817974987/every-single-individual-must-stay-home-italy-s-coronavirus-deaths-pass-china-s?utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=npr&utm_term=nprnews)

So I suggest you stop the racist rhetoric.

Then should we call the Spanish influenza the Kansas influenza since it started there? How about smallpox? Or mad cow disease should be British cow disease since it was widest spread there.

Let’s be consistent here.

Do you also think that the US needs to be sued by the world for monetary damages for causing the 2008 financial crisis or the Great Depression? Just saying.

Instead of pointing fingers we should all be working together to solve this. The only good news I’m hearing is that China and S Korea seem to have managed to halt the spread in their countries.

It seems that state-run media, Xinhua, mentioned they could hold medical supplies hostage which could be used to help the US.

But anyway, yes, I think anyone that started the problem whether its back in08 or now should be held accountable and we should all work together but currently, it seems like that isn’t the case between some governments on the global level.

Yeah the last thing we need is an every man (nation) for himself attitude like after the Great Depression – look where that led.

Haha! Wait, you mean the US caused the 2008 financial crisis?! Ever heard of banks? If you’re blaming anyone, it’s them (and by the way, they’re *not*(!) all American). And, gasp, it was greedy internationally owned and immune from laws institutions like Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank that inflicted much of the crisis.
