- Priority Pass restaurant restriction: one visit per 24 hours by Frequent Miler. Has anybody else run into this before? Would be interesting to know if it’s actually hard coded or not.
- JCPenney Removes Apple Pay Support by PYMNTS. Interesting to see support being removed.
- A Hotel Stay For Only $20 Per Day by Becoming a Member and Having Trees Planted? by The Gate. If anybody does this, I’d love to know what hotels are eligible. Also if you’re doing this just for the trees this is a terrible deal. Should be much cheaper options that are available.

Here are some of the most popular posts from over the weekend:
In January I was using my PP card every 2 hours at the same eatery in Gatwick, no problem. Think I used it 3 times in long layover.
I’ve run into the eBay issue before. They blocked my buying rights cuz they thought I was violating their terms. I wasn’t, but I can’t buy with that account anymore.
Can confirm the 24 hour rule is in place for Stephanies at Terminal B at Boston/Logan
eBay is in character. Basically what happens when one company dominates.
Hey I decided to try the 8 billion trees deal/scam? I posted on the linked site as well- you can buy $100 of bracelets (I needed some gifts and some spend anyway) instead of getting the membership. Shipping is $2.95. They will plant 10 tress for each bracelet. All the pages in the site list the “free” hotel voucher with $100 purchase so we shall see.
Was the vacation voucher legit?
“You actually receive the travel voucher after spending $100 (you don’t have to sign up for the subscription). You then spend ~$100 for taxes/fees for the resort, so it’s $200 for 5 nights”
As always, rarely is anything actually free, or even $20/night. Also, since the $20 per night quote only covers the, “daily room tax,” it purportedly doesn’t cover resort fees. So, it’s probably upwards of $60-$80 per night, all told.
Still not a terrible deal, if it were for a 4 or 5 star property. Plus, you would get to plant some trees, or at least someone would purportedly plant them for you.
I used mine in Denver this weekend 2x within 24 hours. Maybe its per day? I used at 4pm at Timberline in Denver for an outgoing flight (which I missed…then had to take in the morning). I had breakfast at Timberline the next morning at 9am with no problems
Thanks for linking to my eBay post. Such a strange situation. I’m going to hold off on buying GCs/eGCs from ebay for a little bit.
