- United Becomes Latest Airline to Deploy Flight Crews to Pitch Credit Cards by Skift. Look I understand that these convert really well, but making it mandatory is such a bad idea. I’d love to see the conversion data on red eye flights, I bet it isn’t high enough to justify the goodwill that flies out the cabin door when the pitch is being done.
- Southwest Airlines will stop serving peanuts this summer, citing allergy worries by CNBC. Look some people have some pretty crazy and dangerous allergic reactions when it comes to peanuts so I’m not really against this.

La Quinta status matches are still working and they seem pretty generous. I matched my SPG/Marriott & Choice Platinum to La Quinta Elite. Then after about 15 mins of account making, joined Wyndham, matched there, then matched to TR Platinum. Worked like a charm!
