Here are some of the most popular posts from past few days:
Drew has a wealth of knowledge about the hobby and I enjoy some of Richard Kerr’s posts. Would be nice to read on one blog if it wasn’t the arrogant credit card pimp TPG.
I like the term “credit card pimp”. It makes me laugh
If DoC ever gets bought out, well… last one out please turn off the light
I guess Drew’s money is running low. Joining TPG? Sad.
I quit reading TPG long ago when everything on that blog site started migrating towards sleazy pitches as a way to serve only themselves by lining their own pockets. I don’t feel their pitches are very honest and are in the best interests of most people in the points and travel rewards game.
TPG is the Walmart of points and travel.

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s account hacked
-Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s account on the social network was compromised on Friday and began sending out erratic tweets.

I guess he did not have multi-factor authentication set.
Thanks for the WDW Fastpass+ Ult. Guide. Haven’t done WDW & Orlando theme parks since the 80’s, we’ve mainly have hit WDL and parks in So. CA living on the West Coast, this will help us maximize the value as well as the 10 days in Orlando next spring. I’m thinking I should open a CC to hit MSR by paying for parking, park food, and resort fees -LOL
Also came across Disney Hacks site while on sister site: Miles to Memories – never thought I would be interested in a post or a site about maximizing a WDW Fastpass+ funny what we do for our kids
Disgusting take, Doc.
Take a stand against readers in this hobby getting lied to.
+1. If you’re not willing to take a stand DOC, at least stop promoting this crap.
That seems like a frothy market acquisition — we are at or near the peak of the economic cycle which has huge weight on travel/credit card blogs (crisis = people travel less, less interested in new CC, banks pull back handing out cards/referrals) and there isn’t really “scale” benefits (they’re all going after the same market of customers — people looking for a CC that banks pay a referral fee on).
Don’t know the economics of the deal but it seems aggressive to still be scooping up bloggers. Seems like the decision marker is getting paid to grow rather than long term profit
I think it’s awesome that Greg’s willing to use his SkyMile to be be the Data point (or try to be). Even tho it cost him points for the insurance, and now the wait for the voucher.
He literally has millions upon millions of skymiles.
