Redcard & Serve are both offering $20 bonuses if you deposit your tax refunds into your account, only some cardholders received e-mails regarding this bonus but it looks like it’s available to everybody. Here are the original details for both of these offers:
I was alerted to this fact by davidknowsbest on /r/churning. This isn’t too surprising considering that when Serve/Bluebird offered a direct deposit bonus, people that weren’t targeted also received the bonus. This is double good news for those who have a Serve card, because it means you should be able to get the $10 bonus for moving $150 into your Serve Reserve.
Below are a list of all the tax related deals we currently know about, keep in mind it’s possible to split where your tax refund goes.
- Redcard $20 tax bonus
- Serve $20 tax bonus
- Bluebird $10 tax bonus for new accounts
- T-Mobile Mobile Money $20 tax bonus for new accounts
- 1,000 Southwest Miles For Filing Your Taxes With TurboTax
If you know of any tax bonuses, please let me know in the comments. Thanks again to davidknowsbest from/r/churning
Do you know how soon we will get the bonus after DD from tax refund? Would state tax refund be eligible or just federal?
Check out travelwithgrant.com. He mentioned getting it already.
Hi, I wasn’t targeted for this offer but still haven’t received the bonus though the IRS DD came in earlier this month. Didn’t receive the Reserve account bonus either, I did fulfill the requirements 🙁 Any suggestions? Anyone else had this happen?
Very interesting news, compounded by the $10 Reserve bonus part.
*sigh* Already received my tax refunds.
Vanguard usually does $20 off turbotax. Seems like you should be able to stack these.
