Walmart has to be the messiest cobrand partner ever. First they sued Synchrony for breach of contract, then left that partnership. Then they partnered with Capital One, only to sue Capital One for breach of contract and then ended that deal. Then signed this new deal with Synchrony (remember they sued them before) and are now using ‘Spark’ branding despite Capital One (the last card issuer for Walmart) already using Spark branding for business cards. I suspect we won’t see that Spark branding when the cards actually go live and that’s only an internal name but maybe this is a slight against Capital One.

Any rumors on if they are bring back the 2-liter pop for Sign up bonus? I know it was usually two 2-liters but I’ve been holding out for four 2-liters or maybe a king size candy bar with it.

Hard pass. Let me know when the 5% rewards comes back for simply buying online groceries. In the interim, shopping elsewhere.

Does your Walmart+ and Sam’s Club membership get waved if you have this card? Seems like a no brainer considering the annual fee for this card is about $50 less than a membership for each.

The rumor posted on Reddit says they are – I think William didn’t notice and left it out of this article.

I agree.

Don’t know what happened to my last post but the rumor says the Rewards+ card includes both Walmart plus and Sam’s club plus memberships (not included in this article) which would make it worth it for me.

$149 AF for that is terrible, even with me spending $10k a year at Walmart online it barely makes sense over other cards.

I miss the capital one card.

Maybe throw in Walmart plus or InHome and I’d be interested.

On the original post it said $149 annual fee BUT that includes a Walmart+ and Sams Plus Membership, so you actually save $50 a year.

If we’re spreading rumors shouldn’t they at least be believable?

What part of Walmart being a cheapo is unbelievable?

Given Walmart’s history of signup bonuses, I’m looking forward to seeing what their SUB is for these cards. Maybe TWO 2-liter bottles of brand-name soda for the no AF version and three for the AF version?

2.5 for AF, 3 is too much

Lolzies.

There’s no need for this as CSR and AmEx Plat essentially are WalMart cards, with the terrible “perks” they now offer.
