Saw this in the morning when I tried to add the $10 off VGC coupon. Surprised it got posted given there is absolutely zero valuable in this offer. Registers are hard coded to cash-only for these and similar “full-featured” prepaid cards.
One possible use though (that I’ve been meaning to explore myself tbh) is that this particular type of card does NOT require a SSN to open (says so right on the package) so theoretically you could open and abuse as many of these as you want without consequence.

Best way to abuse is to open the Kroger Prepaid card, which earns 2% CB on MO purchases @ Kroger. I don’t know if the Safeway Netspend offers any kind of similar routes.
