There’s a new offer showing in the Samsung Pay app:
- Get a free $10 Amazon gift card when you use an eligible Chase card 3 times via Samsung Pay
Here’s how to go about doing this deal: Open the Samsung Pay app > scroll down to promotions and locate “Get Rewarded with Chase” offer > accept the offer terms & conditions > use a Chase card make 3 purchases via Samsung Pay before June 21, 2018 > get the $10 gift card.
The Fine Print
- Purchases must be made by June 21, 2018
- All Chase cards are eligible for this offer except Chase MasterCard and Chase Ink Business card
- Offer limited to the first 150,000 participants
- Limit of 1 qualifying transaction per 5 minute period
- Amazon gift card will be delivered digitally to your Samsung Pay account
Our Verdict
Seems to be available for everyone. Easy $10 for Samsung users.
There’s another offer to get $5 and also 1,500 Samsung Points when using Paypal with Samsung or Google Pay. I wonder if you can use a Chase card with Paypal via Samsung Pay and trigger all three promos at once.

just use samsung pay with freedom to purchase from vending machine about 10 min ago, did not see the count……

This link points to https://www.chase.com/digital/digital-payments/samsung-pay/cards, which lists only ‘non-branded’ Chase cards (Freedom, Slate, Sapphire etc.)
I have an co-branded airline card which does work in Samung Pay (I have purchased quite a few things with it).
I added the offer to my SPay and will report if it works for these cards or not.
BTW: It tracks how many eligible purchases you have made in the promotion page itself. You can navigate to it again and again

This is only theoretically possible with a Chase bank account and Chase debit card. When you use PayPal inside Samsung Pay, the only way your PayPal balance can be reloaded is through a debit card. However, I doubt that Samsung Pay would recognize that your are using both at once. It will likely only give you credit for the PayPal promo when using PayPal and for the Chase promo when using Chase.
The paypal promo only pulls funds from a bank account via a topup, so one can’t use CC for that promo or triple dip.
Does this work with online stores still? The last promotion I used it to purchase $0.01 key codes from Newegg which was incredibly simple to accomplish.
