Our Verdict
Some nice gift card options there, even some that might have a small net when reselling. This isn’t scalable and really only makes sense for people who shop regularly at Shoprite. It also stacks well with the targeted Amex Offer deal to get $20 off $75 at Shoprite.Â

Also this week also it is for most non VGC/MGC/SR card. I bought $100 ebay GC today and got the $15 – you do not have to buy the listed cards. I also redeemed the $15 fom last week on the same order. So it is possible to roll, but don’t do it too blatantly unless you have a good cashier. I had some groceries as well in the order that totalled about $5 or so.
I can confirm that, it is not just listed cards and runs from 12/17-12/23, I bought a 100 Dick’s card and the fifteen dollars can be redeemed between 12/24-12/30
Bought another $100 best buy gift card without any grocery today. This time voucher printed at the end of the receipt. Guess my store fixed the problem.
Did not work for me either. Got $100 Lowes card with groceries. Have to contact Corporate for this now as CS says groceries total has to be over 15 after all coupons..my total was 121 before coupons and 108 after coupons.
Are people who buy this actually seeing a “Congrats” message on the receipt or getting a catalina print out ?
Called 1800shoprite and the 15 credit was added to my account by rep. No issues..appears they are aware of the issue. So dont waste time with store CS. Should be good to just call corp number if you dont get the print out
@ Harry: thank you for this note! I called the corporate as you mentioned, and the coupon was added to my price plus card, the CS at Shoprite store last week did not wanted to give me the coupon as I ‘only’ bought $5.07 groceries with $100 GC.
By the way. It works with all gift cards displayed.
They only exclude ShopRite and Visa & MasterCard Gift Cards.
It worked for me with Chipotle and Olive Garden gift cards.
Maybe they would like if you buy the gift cards they advise but in reality it works with all of them.
Bought another 100 kohls with 15+ grocery, still no voucher printed. Have to talk to customer service to get voucher added manually. I guess there is some system glitch. It happened before for similar deals at shoprite.

No, csr added in the system under my price plus number.
The voucher is a 6 digit code on your reciept.
No code printed on my receipt. maybe they fixed this or the problem is store specific.
Bought 100 kohls card, no voucher printed. I guess you have to buy $15 grocery with it.

That means you buy the GCs this week, then get the voucher to use next week. No having to buy any groceries now. I’ll be in a Shoprite area between 12/15-12/18 and will be maxing my Amex offers on these.
