Did Southwest ever bring back gift card redemptions? For amazon/walmart “close to cash” stores especially?

Yes for gift cards, no for “close to cash” stores at 1c/p. More like 0.5-0.75c/p depending on store and not including Amazon. Also sitting on 90k points and would have preferred to cash them out to amazon like in the good old days.
Would also love to hear if I’m missing good options other than flights.
I just tried to redeem for any gift card and I got the same “temporarily paused the ability to redeem” message as before. How are you redeeming for gift cards?
