Free Snack Box with Graze Subscription + $7 MM with Acorns or $2.50 Moneymaker with Swagbucks

Update: a reader notes that Acorns has the same deal for $8 invested; that’s $4.50 more than Swagbucks is giving.

The Offer

Direct Link to offer (search for Graze or ‘Free Box of Snacks’)

  • Get a free snack box with just $1 shipping cost when you signup for a Graze snack subscription through Swagbucks.
  • Also get 350 Swagbucks back as well (worth $3.50).

The Fine Print

  • This offer may only be redeemed ONE (1) time per user.
  • Offer only available to new graze subscribers.
  • SB will be revoked for invalid or cancelled orders.
  • Please allow up to 45 days for SB to award.

Our Verdict

If all works out, it’ll be a $2.50 moneymaker. At worst and something goes wrong with the Swagbucks tracking, it’s a way to try out a snack box for $1. Just remember to cancel the subscription if you don’t want it, else it’ll renew at $13.99; you can easily cancel online.

If you’re new to Swagbucks, please read our review. You can also get a bonus of up to $13 by using a referral link.

Acorns has an offer for an $8 contribution for $1 cost. Of course, Acorns has a much longer wait time, and you either have to withdraw it (and get a shiny 1099 tax form to add to your taxes) or keep it in (at a cost of $1 per month). If you regularly do other Acorns deals, it’s the better option, but probably not worth it to get started just for this one.

You’re only paying taxes if you leave the money invested and it generates dividends or capital gains, and you only pay taxes on the dividend itself, not the $8 referral kickback.

Right, to be clear, I just thought some people might find it annoying to have yet another 1099 to wait on and enter next year. (It’s not always possible to withdraw it before taxable changes or events occur.) As you said, it will have near-negligible implications for your taxable income.

I did a similar deal a few months ago and had no problems.
