Update: apparently there’s a $250 fee involved so this isn’t a deal. “Does not require a purchase” is misleading 🤷♂️, hopefully they’ll get called out on this.
The Offer
- Swagbucks is offering 15,000 ($150) when you speak to a retirable advisor at Retirable and set up an account.
- Seems to be available on MyPoints for 30,000 (around $190-$200), but I can’t find the link.
The Fine Print
- SB will appear as Pending for 7 days.
- Offer may only be redeemed once (1) per user.
- This offer is presented to you by Swagbucks on behalf of a third-party merchant or sponsor (“Merchant”). Swagbucks does not endorse (and therefore is not responsible to you for) the Merchant’s views, policies, products or services. Have questions? Please contact the Swagbucks Help Center. If you are not credited within 7 days, you have 14 days to contact the Swagbucks Help Center for further investigation. Help Center tickets submitted after the 14 day grace period are not eligible for further investigation and SB.
Our Verdict
Seems like you can open an account with $1 and get the signup bonus. I haven’t gone through with the process, let us know if you try this.

They told me they don’t want to talk to me because I’m not “rich and old”
Chuck Was curious about the terms so I followed the link. Seems to be dead.

They cancelled my meeting today because I’m under 55
I have a zoom meeting scheduled for today. I don’t want to be charged the annual fee. Should I cancel the meeting?
I would cancel the meeting
I got with their support regarding $250 annual fees. Here is their response: “The fee for financial planning is $250 per year paid up front. If you choose to cancel during the year, you’ll be charged the initial $250 but will not be automatically renewed for another year.” Chuck
Thanks. This is definitely a deal killer.
So a 50 to 100 money loser. Thanks for your extra effort.
Bummer, added a note
Can I do Zoom meetings in my underwear
If so, I’m in!
You can do it naked if you want.
Eh too much time & effort, as well as personal info, for a couple hundred bucks. I’ll pass.
yep, personal info is the big one.
Diving in via the MyPoints link provided by Davis. Wish me luck.
Make that two.
There’s no way to schedule a call for a specific time without texting. Nor do they specify where they’re calling from.
“You don’t meet the demographics of our typical clients so I will be canceling our meeting.”
Lol. Unbelievable.
After the phone call, there will be a zoom meeting before any account is opened.
After the phone call, retirable will set up zoom meeting before signing up for account.
