The Offer

Direct Link to offer

  • T-Mobile/Sprint are offering their mobile customers a free year of Apple TV+, a $59.88 value. Offer can be redeemed starting August 25, 2021.

After the year, the subscription will auto-renew at $4.99/mo unless cancelled.

The Fine Print

  • Register for code before June 30, 2022; codes expire on July 31, 2022.
  • This is a promotional code and is not for resale, has no cash value, and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.
  • Valid only for Apple TV+ in the United States.
  • Offer fulfilled by Apple in the Apple TV app; requires iTunes/Apple Media Services account. Terms and Apple Privacy Policy apply; see the applicable terms here.
  • Must be 13+.
  • Only one offer per account. Qualifying credit & service required.
  • After free trial, plan automatically renews at $4.99/month until cancelled.
  • Eligible plans for T-Mobile customers include Magenta, Magenta MAX, Magenta 55+, Magenta MAX 55+, Magenta First Responders, Magenta MAX First Responders, Magenta Military, Magenta MAX Military, Magenta Deaf or Hard of Hearing, Magenta Max Deaf or Hard of Hearing, Magenta Amplified, Business Unlimited Advanced, Business Unlimited Ultimate, Magenta for Business, and Magenta MAX for Business rate plans.
  • Eligible plans for Sprint customers include Unlimited Plus, Unlimited Premium, Military Plus, Military Premium, 55+, and Deaf or Hard of Hearing/Visually Impaired rate plans.
  • Existing Apple TV+ Customers: You will still get one year of the streaming service on us. Once you redeem the Apple TV+ offer, your paid Apple TV+ subscription will pause and our one-year offer will take over. Once our offer period is over, Apple billing will resume unless you take action—so your service won’t be interrupted.

Our Verdict

T-Mobile continues to add value to their customers with this free offers. Sounds like you can redeem this code any time before July 2022, so if you don’t want to use it now you can get the code now (or any time before the end of June 2022) and activate it for your free year to begin any time by July 2022.

Sprint SWAC customer here – promo worked for me. I also have a TMo (Magenta) data only plan on a tablet and it didn’t work. Message said I needed an active voice account.

Can anyone confirm signing up for this promo today. They must have change the message; it’s saying ‘coming soon’ now. There is no option in my rate plan or add-on section to sign up for it. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Doesn’t look like it works for T-Mobile Business Unlimited. I’m just getting error messages on the website.

Any thoughts on whether AppleOne subscribers will get a credit on their bill for this?

Answering my own question. No. https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/comments/pc12q3/tmo_apple_tv_apple_one_subscribers_not_eligible/

Wish the trick to get the code was easier. I have a buddy with AppleOne, but getting them to figure out the code is too much. 😢

All the newest plans with the worst rates are eligible… Increase price $20/mo give you $5/mo with 90% breakage, call it a benifit

Nope. Not just new plans. The promo works on my Sprint SWAC plan – totally didn’t expect it.

I have the Sprint Unlimited Kickstart v1 ($15+taxes). There’s not even a chance I will qualify, and rightly so.

No he doesn’t qualify because they only allow Unlimited Plus and Premium. I have SWAC(Heavily discounted- Unlimited Plus for $30) so not sure if I even qualify

Lol. All the eligible plans are the newer TMO/Sprint plans that are heavily inflated and then offer “benefits” like unlimited Tidal, T-Mobile Tuesdays, etc. I have a hassle free, no strings attached, no-contract plan that offers me unlimited talk, text and data for <$20, and I value that.

Probably not, but try it out and see. I have SWAC and it worked.

Thanks for sharing. I have Magenta 1.0 (used to just be called Magenta until they added a new plan called Magenta 2.0) and it does not appear to qualify.

Base Magenta? 100GB vs 50GB deproritization limit and you get 5GB hotspot instead of like 3
