This is in addition to the standard 5% you get off, works out to be a total of 9.75% off. Target offered a similar deal earlier this month as well. Remember to use a shopping portal for additional savings.

FYI: I am still seeing this listed on some items (i.e. grocery department) today. Specifically, it’s listed as “REDcard saves an extra 5% before every day 5%.” I wonder if this effective 9.75% discount will become more common…

If your order is >$40 using store pickup or restock by the end of the day 4/27, you get a $10 Target gift card. Stacks with the 5% off 5%.

This is a pretty weak offer. Better to just buy a discounted target e-giftcard on Raise (or elsewhere) and pay using that.

In that case, why use Redcard ever? A couple of reasons I can think of are convenience and not having to tie up money in Target gift cards.

I tend to buy ebay gc at target with the red card. 5% off some gc is hard to do.

If you pay with giftcard, you have to spend $35 to get free shipping online. And printing out the e-giftcards to use in-store isn’t convenient.

You can add the gift cards to the target app. Just make sure they are checked before paying. By default they are removed and it goes to the redcard only..

The gift card is in your target wallet, or you put it up in your Google Wallet, or Raise. There is no reason to ever print any digital gift cards these days.

While I mostly use discounted GC, I still see a use for the RedCard: there are items that you can’t pay for with a GC, there aren’t always GC available with a bigger discount and finally, if you want to longer return window (90 instead of 30 days).

Where are you finding Target cards on Raise at a discount of 8-10% off?

I wonder if it works with “Order online and pick up at store”?

It should.

Thanks for not saying “5% off + 5% off is 10% off” haha
