Our Verdict
Annual fee is not waived first year, but the $200 statement credit covers most of that. Â Â If you have questions about American Express upgrade offers they will be answered here. Main advantage of an upgrade offer is that you can get the bonus even if you’ve held the card before.

Wasn’t going to apply anyway (I’ve never held the Delta Plat before, so upgrading wouldn’t make sense for me), but they didn’t even give me the option because the offer expired 1/7/22 but I only received it today (1/10/22). Thanks USPS delays.

I received this offer and went ahead with the upgrade last month , now the same account is showing an upgrade offer again to the delta reserve for an additional 60,000 miles & $300 statement credit , could I possibly get into trouble with amex for taking advantage of 2 upgrades on the same account within the course of one month ?
I have the Blue no-annual-fee card (previously Platinum, downgraded to Blue a couple of years ago) and just received a mailer with the same offer to upgrade back to Platinum (50k miles +$200 credit for $3k spend over 6 months). It says, “request an upgrade at delta.com/goplatinum”; however, when I try that URL, I get the error message “404 – PAGE NOT FOUND That Page Isn’t On Our Radar. It looks like you may be trying to visit a place that doesn’t exist.” Tried on multiple computers and multiple browsers with no luck.
Same thing happened to me. Try scanning the QR code. That took me to the upgrade page.
Just an update: After the prolonged time it took for the Feb PayPal credit to post to my CS Platinum account (AMX was having tech/system issues) I decided to confirm that the Delta Biz upgrade offer was reflected on my Delta card…. They had no record of the offer or it even that it was available to my previous card (Delta Biz Gold). I requested that they elevate my query to whomever can get this resolved. I’ll post here outcome….. (I received the offer via the blue popup window)

Wasn’t targeted for this offer. Used a link for the personal Delta Platinum card that was provided in an earlier comment. Submitted and was approved for an upgrade from my Delta Blue. I confirmed via AmEx chat that I was approved and that the upgrade offer for 50k Skymiles/$200 credit With $3k spend in 6 months is applied to my account. So we’ll see when I hit the spend. I have had the card and received the SUB before.
