I purchased $375 worth of Amazon.com Christmas and birthday gift cards on December 18th. I confirmed with an AmEx phone representative this morning that I was awarded the 3,000 MR points; I was concerned that the special Christmas and birthday gift cards that I purchased would be categorized as “custom-designed” as per the exceptions specified in the fine print but it turns out that there was no need to be concerned.
Food for thought.
I sent a large AGC and I noticed I am not able to use MR points to pay it off (not that I would anyways since it’s garbage exchange rate).
I reloaded small amounts and I am able to pay it off with MR points. I didn’t reload a large amount so I’m not sure if this is always the case.
This at the bare minimum tells us that Amex knows… everything.
I may be late to the party on this one but apparently Cyberpunk 2077 is available on Amazon as a digital download. $10 cheaper than on Steam plus the 8x points makes this pretty appealing.
I have offer to say that If I use one point I can get 50% off up to 60$. The bad thing is that I just got my card 10 days back and I will get my points on the 22nd of December. Any way to expedite the points?

Yesterday I was checking link for using Amex Pay w/ Points and got 10% off up to $10 on one of the card. Today I saw on Slickdeals that there is offer for 20% up to $20 and got it. I am glad I did not pull trigger yesterday. Just purchased something $100 and saved $20 instantly, and for the remaining $80 to get 8x points back is just great
I got this on Everyday, but I noticed it said purchase must be made through mobile app? Are others seeing this?

It could be worded better. I think it means,
“Offer valid only for purchases made at Amazon.com
and (also)
the US Amazon mobile app…”
I added to my Amazon GC balance, and in under 30 minutes I received the email “Great news! You just used your Amex Offer”. I’ll say it’s good pending clawback.

I can confirm this, too. Got it on my gold. Immediately added to card and then purchased a $50 reload to test it out. Within 5 minutes got the email, “Great news! You just used your Amex Offer”. I don’t see anywhere in the terms that it isn’t valid for Amazon gift cards.
I got this offer as well on my EDP. Meaning I will get 13.5x because of the 50% boost. $222.22 of max spend, however.

In the past adding to Amazon GC balance did trigger the bonus… possibly it will work again.
