The Offer

Check the AmEx Offers for the following deal:

  • Earn 10% back as a statement credit after using your enrolled eligible Card to make purchases in-store or online at a U.S. supermarket by 12/31/2024. Limit of $20 back in total statement credits.
  • Others got $5 back with $30 purchase, can be done 4x ($20 max back)
  • Others got 1 bonus Membership Rewards point per dollar, up to 2,000 bonus points.

Our Verdict

Grocery store offers are always useful. You can also buy a gift card at the local grocery if you want to max it out that way.

Still using the Discover Q2 and Q3 on gas and grocery for 10% (by churning new accounts). Did a bit of gift cards towards the end to time-shift the offer. Still have seen nothing on American Express though I did get this 10% offer on a no annual fee card a bit over a year ago plus stacked with a general spend offer / small spiff ($10 for every $500 spent).

Can I make multiple purchases and expect each to post 10% credit up to 20$ or is it should be in one transaction to maximize $20

Raymond The wording says total statement credits so that is multiple.But you can also do it in a single one.Max $20 cash back.

No offers for me, which is typical. I have the blue cash preferred. The always 6% cash back is nice, but i’d prefer 10! Anyone else score an offer with this card?
