I used U-Ship to have my car shipped from Washington D.C. to California. It was extremely smooth. Highly recommend them if anyone has an plans to move. Looking at moving to PA right now and this might come in handy. Thanks Doc!!

smart decision on the move to PA.

Low income taxes, affordable housing and quite the scenery as well. I’ve visited a few friends that relocated there from NYC. They all love it. I’m probably gonna head there in a few years as well.

Thanks! Yeah, I grew up in Harrisburg and went to school at Pitt! Pittsburgh is a underrated city and extremely affordable! I’ll miss the weather in CA, but not much else haha.

Until something goes wrong. I ship a lot of vehicles. While uShip often comes through, and is usually priced well, if something goes wrong in transit, uShip can quickly point to the 4 point nano-font contract that reminds you they are just a shipping broker, and any claims go back to the 3rd party carrier who actually picked your shipment.

BTW, this kind of setup has become near universal in the domestic transport business, so there aren’t a lot of economical ways around it. Montway is probably the biggest of these outfits that pretend to “be there for your every need”… until they’re not.
