Our Verdict

Wine Access used to have a referral program where you could get $50 off your first order, but doesn’t look like that is active anymore. Looks like you can get 10% through portals on your first purchase and there seems to be some coupon codes for $50 off your first order of $150+ (WINE50). I don’t think those will stack but should still let you get $200 in wine for $100 (e.g add $200 to cart, use promo code and then get a further $50 back from AmEx). Shipping is free when you spend $120+. If you want to support the site you can use our link (this will invalidate any portal). Stack any other opportunities you see in the comments below.

Clicked through TCB and then copy / pasted a referral link in the same window and placed an order reflecting the $50 referral discount (which gets auto-added without a code) — TCB tracked on the post-discount, pre-tax amount. I’d be surprised if it doesn’t hold and pay out. I also don’t see a place to add a promo code.

High quality wines, even better is saving $50 off $150, with free shipping, then stack the amex offer on top of that, use the below link to save.

I believe the referral program is still active; it’s just a little hidden. Here’s a link for another $50 off $150 http://share.wineaccess.com/v/carl_5. As other post says, you can confirm by seeing a banner at the top of the site page.

Also: it’s better than other wine offers because it’s not (primarily) a wine club, so the wines are high quality direct from reputable vineyards. Well worth it, imo, after dabbling in a bunch of wine club offers

I’m seeing $100 off $250 on some of my cards.

The referral sort of works. I’ve found that the referee needs to open the referral link on a mobile device. Then he should see a banner on top of the site about the referral and get $50 off the first order of $150. However, I haven’t received any acknowledgment on the $50 referral credit, so it might not be working on the referrer end.

Any suggestions for what to buy? I don’t recognize much on the site except the really spendy stuff like Opus One…

I feel crazy but I don’t see a way to add a coupon code on the site. That would knock this down as a good offer for me.
