[Expired] [Targeted] Bank of America $15 Bonus When You Use Apple Pay Three Times

This bonus has expired, view more Bank of America deals here.

Update 04/05/18: Offer is back

The Offer

Direct link to offer.  targeted offer sent via e-mail. Subject line is ‘Earn a $15 statement credit with this Apple Pay offer’. Hat tip to reader Mike

  • Select Bank of America credit card holders are being offered a $15 statement credit when they make three or more purchases using Apple Pay by April 30th, 2018

The Fine Print

  • Only valid for the intended recipient and cannot be combined with any other offer

Our Verdict

Good deal if you’re targeted and have access to Apple Pay. American Express & Chase both have Apple Pay offers at the moment and Apple Pay has some discounts on different merchants as well.

I got an email offering 5% back on up to $300 when using applepay. Might be a variation of this, though I would much rather get the $15/3 uses..

How can you get targeted for more deals from BoA? I always log in and have like 1 or 2. Currently: Houlihan’s, barf.

When logged into your account:

1) Choose Special Offers & Deals tab near the top
2) Select Preferences Tab (Under a green checkmark titled Shop)
3) Set Deals on account details: Show
4) Set BankAmeriDeals: Opt In

Below this there should be a list of your Eligible Cards

Good luck!

I’m already opted in, I just get cruddy deals. I think the most offers that ever showed up were maybe like 5-6, none were great. It’s been months tho since I’ve had more than 1-2.

It varies by geographic location I know. Might be that there just aren’t a lot of merchants who participate in this program (that also supplies deals to SunTrust, Regions, etc) in your area.

Are you actively using your BofA cards? That seems to be a requirement for most offers.

Do not use it often I guess? Some old post said ppl would be rewarded for maybe $5-$10 for just downloading and using their apps.

I got the email with the subject “See why you should be using Apple Pay” from Bank of America but no mention of $15. The email says exclusive for (last 4 digits of my card) though….
