[Expired] [Targeted] Capital One Quicksilver $100 Bonus For Spending $3,000 For Existing Cardholders

Deal has expired, view more Capital One deals here.

The Offer

Targeted offer, sent out via e-mail. Subject line is ‘earn a $100 cash bonus with your Quicksilver card’

  • Capital One is offering some Quicksilver cardholders a bonus of $100 when they spend $3,000 between April 6th to July 6th, 2018.

The Fine Print

  • Enrollment not required

Our Verdict

Obviously not the biggest bonus, but it’s for existing cardholders and at least the card earns 1.5% cash back on all purchases. How useful this deal is will really depend on what your spending capacity is like and if this spend could be better put towards minimum spend requirements.

So I just received my “Cash Bonus” sort of…I was envisioning this showing on my cashback rewards tab so I could request a check. Instead they applied it as a statement credit, so in order to get a check sent out to me I had to call in to get this processed. Kind of sneaky to offer a Cash bonus when it becomes a statement credit unless you call, but it is what it is.

As far this promo not sure it was worth it having to wait a couple months after completing the 3K spend, its a psychological thing too where you probably buy stuff you normally wouldn’t just to meet the spend, but I should receive my check in 7-10 days.

Have people gotten the credit? The promo says it will post “within 90 days of the offer end date.” Do we need to wait until early October to ask?

I received an offer for $200 after $7500 spending. I haven’t used the card for about 1 year.

CS had no clue what I was talking about, they simply just added me to the general default email list of promotional offers. This should be the case already with myself and the rest of you though. Wish I could have earned almost 5% CB

makes it 1.83% cashback with the bonus. better off using your 2% card if you have one

Your math is a bit off. Makes it a 4.83 percent back card. $100 back on $3000 is roughly 3%

This is a no brainer for MS. If you buy six $500 gift cards and three money orders your out of pocket is less than $45. This gets you $145 so it’s over a $100 moneymaker.

6 X $500 MCGC may load to BB/Serve, that’s almost $36 fee, the 1.5% original cash back can cover the fee

Too bad I wasn’t targeted. I would’ve done it.

even if you have got this offer it doesn’t make sense to do it. it’s because you can just apply for a card and get more then what you would get with this card.

That’s what makes this a good deal if you already have this card no impact on credit score and an easy $145 if you can meet the spend. I think I may do the Safeway and Office Max gift card deals and then all my regular spend should meet 3K in 3 months…I haven’t used this card in 3-4 years basically quit using it after getting the sign up bonus on vacation, I did recently get a 360 MM account tho not sure if those had to do w/ being targeted.

4.8% cash back for no hard pull or new account? I’ll take that in between new signups, let my report cool for a few months.
