Chase Ink Cash $750 Public Offer

Update 11/9/20: Deal is now publicly available. Hat tip to reader Kenny S

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Earn a $750 cash bonus after you spend $7,500 on purchases in the first three months after account opening on the Chase Ink Cash card

Card Details

  • Chase 5/24 rule applies to this card
  • No annual fee
  • 0% intro APR on purchases and balance transfers for the first 12 months
  • Card earns at the following rates:
    • 5% on the first $25,000 in combined spend at office supply stores, internet cable and phone services
    • 2% on the first $25,000 in combined spend at gas stations & restaurants
    • 1% cash back on all other purchases

Our Verdict

Standard online offer is currently 50,000 points. This is an extra 25,000 points but the minimum spend requirement is $7,500 instead of $3,000. Spend requirement shouldn’t matter too much for people that can spend big at office supply stores anyway. Unfortunately most people won’t be eligible due to the 5/24 rule.

Does Chase allow more than one Ink Cash per business?

Applied initially on 2/18/2022. Was first told to contact Chase to verify identity on 2/20/2022. Then was told application was denied because it was “incomplete”, which didn’t make any sense. They sent me a signature form and told me they would reconsider when I submitted it. Applied as a sole proprietor, so put the same info (name/ssn) for both the personal and business fields. Dropped the signature forum off at a chase branch on 3/3/2022. Got approved email today 3/6/2022 at 11:20pm PT – 2:20am ET, lol.

I have an existing CSP but no business banking relationship with Chase. In fact, this is my first business credit card, and while I do small amounts of business as a sole proprietor, the bonus will be met with MS.

Pulled personal Experian and Equifax, presumably this wouldn’t have happened if I applied using an EIN instead. Wondering if this means it will count towards 5/24. Was 2/24 before this.

Was approved for this as my first ever Chase card (finally fell below 5/24 for the first time). Highly recommend opening a business checking account first if you are new to Chase, good chance you’ll immediately be pre-approved.

Got approved for. Now don’t plan to spend the $7,500 now to get the bonus. What’s the best strategy for it now? Already have several Chase cards. Know if I cancel it would be a credit hit, although not on personal.

no strategy for you…what do you expect someone to say lmao. why did you get approved if you werent gonna hit the spend for hte bonus. regardless, just keep the card open. business cards dont show on your personal credit report. what a pointless comment for u to make LOL

11/4 applied online
I immediately got this email: “We have received your request for a Chase credit card. We’ll let you know our decision as soon as possible”
11/22 received card and paperwork in the mail
I guess I’m approved, lol

initial credit line of $4k, I am 4/24

Got an email with a CL increase on my CIC from the base $3k to $5k today, I did not request. Just over 6 months since approval. I did cycle some credit when I was doing my $7500 SUB, since my limit was only $3k I put $2k something on it, paid it all off then put more on it, all in one cycle. Didn’t seem to have any ramifications.

Still enjoying the 0% for another 6 months.

applied on 9/23/2021 (1/24 at that point) with a friend’s referral link. Inconsistent report when checking the status via the automated line “not found,” “under review,” to “thank you for applying, please speak to a representative regarding your card’s status” for several weeks. Got the physical card on 10/12/2021. Checked online to see that I have until 1/3/2022 to reach the target spend amount (apparently approved on 10/3/2021).

Hi Jason, I wonder have you ended up calling recon or just wait? I called the automated line and got the approval after a day. Then, I called again and tried to see there has any updates, however, I got the “thank you for applying, lease speak to a representative regarding your card’s status” status..

Approved despite being 8/24, via “just for you” offers.

I currently have ink cash which was converted from ink plus. Do I have to close my current ink cash in order to apply and get bonus for this one? Any experience?

Don’t see this line anymore in the “Offer Details” section or the “Pricing & Terms” section. Hope this means that we can get the bonus multiple times like the CIP card

For the first time ever, I’m getting close to being under 5/24 and will be able to get 4 chase cards in a few month period. I’m still a few months away and have had this card for several years. Can I close this and reopen it in a few months for the bonus? Also any general suggestions on how to prepare…should I cancel my other unused chase cards to free up some credit?
