Chase Ink Cash $750 Public Offer

Update 11/9/20: Deal is now publicly available. Hat tip to reader Kenny S

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Earn a $750 cash bonus after you spend $7,500 on purchases in the first three months after account opening on the Chase Ink Cash card

Card Details

  • Chase 5/24 rule applies to this card
  • No annual fee
  • 0% intro APR on purchases and balance transfers for the first 12 months
  • Card earns at the following rates:
    • 5% on the first $25,000 in combined spend at office supply stores, internet cable and phone services
    • 2% on the first $25,000 in combined spend at gas stations & restaurants
    • 1% cash back on all other purchases

Our Verdict

Standard online offer is currently 50,000 points. This is an extra 25,000 points but the minimum spend requirement is $7,500 instead of $3,000. Spend requirement shouldn’t matter too much for people that can spend big at office supply stores anyway. Unfortunately most people won’t be eligible due to the 5/24 rule.

P2 just went from 5/24 to 4/24 4 days ago. Has Ink Cash, and just closed Ink Preferred acct 30 days ago. Applied with 15K revenue for Sole Prop and 170K total income. Instant approval, only $3K CL however.

Applied as SP w/ SSN, 5k revenue, $1200 spend, Little over 2 years old. Went under review, 7-10 days. Fingers crossed!

1/24, 3 personal Chase cards with $65.4k limit(Marriott, Freedom, Sapphire Preferred). (CSP is the only card opened within last 24 months). Credit score just above or below 800 depending which model. Opportunity/need to do some heavy organic spend soon.

Will come back here to update.

I got an email early morning on Monday saying I was approved! Got another email saying the card was mailed on Tuesday. No mention of credit limit but I’m assuming it’s the standard $3k. I will have some big medical bills for P2 coming up, figuring I’ll have to call and pay ~$3000, pay it off as soon as it posts, and then call back next week and pay another $3000 chunk… gotta love HDHPs 🙁 At least I’ll be able to milk ~80k UR points with this SUB and associated spend, silver lining I suppose.

This is my first business card… this one made the most sense, 5% on cell/cable providers(~$3k yearly expense in my household) for no AF. Plus the ability to pickup VGCs when available at Staples and pay other bills like insurance with them and get 5% instead of 2% on those bills as well… awesome.

I have a Chase Ink Unlimited Card that I use for legit business/sole prop for my rental properties I own.

Will I have any issue opening a CIC for and say it is also for my sole prop/rental properties? Figure if I get denied I can call recon and say I want to use this to separate out my properties and keep expenses separate.

If you meet other qualifications you can usualliy hold one of each of their business cards at the same time. Sometimes I have qualified for 2 of the same one, but they have gotten stricter about that.

Thanks! I’m just applied and will let you know. The $7,500 in spend is a bit annoying, but I’ll do some MS if we need be or be lazy and venmo a friend.

just received an approval email (over 12 hours after application sent) so I am guessing is not going to show up on my personal account!! am I right? so how can I access the new account info before receiving the card?

I don’t think you can, I just got approved yesterday and got an email saying card shipped today. The only way to add an account is with the account/card #. Plus I think we have to create a business login on Chase.com too.

I was able to get the Ink Cash card again after 24 months of opening the previous one. Good deal!

Sole prop, SSN, $2k revenue, spend $250, 3 years old. Applied and got 7-10 days, approved with no further action by me. First Chase Biz card, and first time out of 5/24 since it started 🙂

Sole prop, SSN, $5k revenue, ~1.5 years. Applied Fri and got 7-10 days, approved Mon with no further action by me.

I did open a business checking account last month to establish my business profile, so very few questions were asked on the CC app. I’m iffy on the time in business because the banker in branch filled all that out and I don’t know exactly what he put in.

Applied as Sole prop, SSN, 1 year in business, $2.4k annual revenue. Denied for “Business too new”.
I don’t think recon would be able to help with this one right?

Update: Approved after calling recon! I suggested to transfer credit from existing business CC to new one, and they conducted a detailed 45 min interview on the business.
