P2’s annual fee posted a few weeks ago on her Hyatt card, mine won’t hit for another month or so. She was targeted and I wasn’t despite both of us having the card sock drawered. I definitely think she was targeted to entice her to pay the annual fee. I believe we have seen this in the past from Chase (where spending promotions are tied to cards with annual fees that have recently posted or are very close to posting).
