  • Card earns at the following rates:
    • Earn 2 miles per $1 spent on purchases at restaurants, gas stations, and office supply stores.
    • Earn 2 miles per $1 spent on tickets purchased from United.
    • Earn 1 mile per $1 spent on all other purchases.
  • Last seat availability
  • Miles don’t expire
  • Free checked bag when you pay with card (for 2 people)
  • Priority boarding

  • No FX fees
  • 10,000 bonus miles after $25,000 in spend within a calendar year

Our Verdict

Standard bonus on this card is 50,000 miles after $3,000 in spend. Sometimes it’s also possible to get an additional $50 by doing a dummy booking, I wasn’t able to get that to show but others might be able to. As far as I know this is the highest bonus on the business variation of this card. The 5/24 rule does apply to this card, so most readers won’t be eligible for this card/bonus. The nice thing is that Chase business cards do not report to your personal credit report so this card won’t be added to your 5/24 total. Because of that I do strongly recommend picking up this card if you get the 75,000 offer and are under 5/24. As always if you have questions about Chase cards, please read this post first.

Not targeted – myself and wife. 50K with 3K MSR

Is Chase still asking for verification of business addresses with a bill, etc?

My 3 Chase Business cards this year disagree with you. I think it is much more unlikely to get asked for but likely a YMMV thing.

perhaps i misunderstood the question or even your reply, but im answering the part where if bill is being asked for address verification (i sent my charter internet bill). of course if you’re auto-approved or being verified for something else, then i don’t see the need for a bill.

Checked 4 accounts, None.

the only time i have something targeted and it seems I cant even get it fml

They target the ones with Lol/24 so they apply unknowingly and get shutdown, Lol.

Damn 5/24

Between this and the CIC $500 offer, which one should I go for? 🤔

CIC. No AF. 5x on utilities. Cop and and put your cable/internet/phone spend on it

No 5x on utilities.

To clarify, they call it utilities, presumably because it includes cable, internet, and phone. Electricity and gas are not included.

Great offer but United needs to get Chase to take these cards off 5/24.

I’m 3/24. Checked and not targeted.

By logging into your United account? Or Chase Business account?

n/m missed the direct link to the offer!

Does your United account have a different offer than your Chase account? I know my American account often had better offers than my Citi account.

Am over 5/24 and only get the 50K offer. The Direct link eventually resolves to this page

Offer popped up after logging in the main site. I’m 4/24. Got the following message.

“Thank you for your request.

We need to review your request a little longer. We will let you know of our decision by U.S. mail. This could take up to 30 days.”

Also targeted (3/24). My response says:

“Thank you for your request.

We need to review your request a little longer. We will let you know of our decision as soon as possible.

Thank you for choosing the United MileagePlus Explorer Business Card.”

Call reconsideration line! Can’t hurt

UA Silver. Can see the offer after login. Already over 5/24…

Only see the standard offer.

Not targeted. If only they would match…

There are some unhighlighted additional benefits of AF United cards:

– expanded economy award availability (same as elites get)

– award ticket upgrade eligibility for elites

– PQD waiver when you spend $25,000

– 20% off OTG (meaning nearly all) restaurants at Newark Terminal C (also true for no-fee MP card)

Also, I think the extra 10K miles bonus when spending $25,000, mentioned above, went away when they added 2X on restaurants, but I might be mistaken.

More here, though in need of an update:
