Our Verdict

This account has a 1.11% APY for the first year, that drops to 0.61% on the first $100,000 after that introductory rate runs out. They also offered a similar bonus last year, but it was up to $600 instead of only $500. This bonus works out to be up to an additional 0.2% for three months. Most people won’t have $250,000 laying around, I also don’t think moving around such large sums is worth it.
