I had to go to merchandise in the app and add the cup and then it let me redeem the coupon, then for my drink I had to customize that I have a venti cup. I hope that helps.
No one needs another plastic reusable cup. Better to bring one you already have that is ideally not plastic.
No. Thanks. More environmental waste. I have my own mug. Besides, it is way too expensive to spend $5 at SBUX for a coffee plus a cheap cup. The cheap Italian coffee from my Bialetti Moka Express tastes much better than the expensive SBUX coffee…
Yawn. With all of the talk about global warming and climate change, I cannot believe Starbucks’ contribution is just a corporate clone cup with no creativity or flare. All Starbucks is doing is trying to get some free advertising off a cause…. pathetic.

i see a “coupon available” on the “Offers” tab in the app, but when i went to the store, they didn’t have the cups available yet!
These cups are not new. They are regularly available in most stores. They might just be out of stock. You can check store stock level in the app and even order ahead for pickup using the coupon as you would any drink. It’s just a little strange picking up an empty cup lol

I tried it in store and they said āPayPal needs to send you a couponā and I said they did itās literally on the app and I can apply the coupon in mobile order but the cups are all labeled as out of stock most likely b/c of the promo. They had the cups in stock in store. I contacted Starbucks and they sent me $5 to pay for a cupā¦ not going to so Iāll just use it for another drink.
Whatās unabashedly ironic about this promo is that these non-biodegradable plastic cups are supposed to promote Earth Day, but most of them will end up in landfills anyway along with Starbucksā regular paper cups because most people canāt be bothered to recycle. š
