- Must have insurance and a 2004 or new non-GM vehicle.
- Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery of giftcard
- Test drive lasts for approximately 30 minutes
- Prepaid card issued by MetaBank, which is FDIC issued and you can assign a PIN to these cards. Meaning you’re able to load them through walmart money center and use them with a bluebird account. Card valid for six months
If the car you selected is not in stock you will not be able to proceed on the website, some people have also reported issues with using the website with Firefox. We recommend the chrome browser, although if you’re still having issues perhaps try using IE.
The Verdict
My personal experience:Â Did my test drive today, in the e-mail I stated I was in the market for a new car, wasn’t considering the Cadillac saw the $100 giftcard offer and decided I might as well give them a test drive.
Sales person eyes lit up when I arrived, took the car out for a spin and then went back into the showroom. He stated on the pressure tactics and told him I was just looking for the moment and high pressure tactics were a major turn off.
Asked him to process the gift card and received a print out saying it was processed. He called me a few hrs later and I told him that if he called and pressured me again I’d definitely not be purchasing a caddy.
A lot of times sales people will just sign the form and process your gift card even if you don’t test drive the car. That’s because they work for commission and don’t want to waste time on people who are only there for the gift card. Being upfront is usually the best course of action when you want to avoid the test drive. Source(s): 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. This has changed, dealerships have been instructed to tell customers they are out of giftcards if they are only interested in test driving the car for the gift card. Do not mention hearing it from any internet forum or blog, state you saw the offer on their website!
It’s nice to see more test drive offers coming out, so much so that we’ve decided to create a new category on this blog to cater for it. Assuming you have a participating dealer near by, this deal is a no brainer yes for me. By the time you take the test drive and fill out all of the necessary paper work you’re probably looking at an hour or hour and a half of your time (plus you get to test drive a car).
Just make sure you bring in proof of ownership of a 2004 or newer non-GM car, insurance and a valid drivers license or they won’t be able to fill out the paperwork. After you complete the test drive you should receive a confirmation print out that looks as follows. make sure you receive this form!:

Update: A lot of people are receiving e-mail replies with no mention of the $100 offer. You’ll need to reply to these to set up a time for the test drive, we suggest mentioning the $100 offer after you’ve already set up a time but before you go in for a test drive (otherwise they may state they aren’t a participating dealership). You can also call and make an appointment directly OR just show up to the dealership, there is no need to go through the website to receive this offer.
This means you’ll only be able to receive this offer once per household.
Also remember the Kia $25 offer is still valid until the 31st of March as well.

Can you please tell me how to sign up for the hundred dollar visa card for test driving a Cadillac.

I did the test drive and tried to purchase the vehicle ,but was not able. However that was march 24th and have not received my gift card .please reply
posted on this and no one is answering me of why I haven’t received mine?? i asked the sales person that did it for me, he said he summited it… when i call him it is like he is giving me the run around. so can you tell me who i can call to see what is going on? or did they NOT give out the 100.? who can i contact to see where my information has been sent to see why i haven’t received my gift card. please reply. thank you.
i did this test drive 4/19/14 and it is 6/19-20 and still haven’t received my 100. gift card. says on this sight 4 to 6 weeks. when i called the dealer sales man he called someone higher up and they said 12 to 16 weeks or longer before you get it???? so, does someone have a contact info for this promotion to see if they received it from the dealer . can someone help me.

So we did this today, and they said we were participating in the $100 Visa Giftcard promotion.
However, we didn’t get a confirmation page. The guy printed out the entry form page and physically wrote in the blank spots.
Should I contact them again tomorrow and see if it is going to be submitted, and for a confirmation page? Or are we set?
You should be fine, if you don’t receive the confirmation in a couple of days time maybe call up to ensure it’s been processed.
