Topcashback Now Offering A 7% Bonus On Visa Giftcard Payouts

Update 11/01/18: Bonus has now been increased to 7% (previously 5%). Hat tip to Lantean

Topcashback offers you a bonus when you cash out your balance for certain things, they have recently added Virtual Visa prepaid cards and if you choose this as an option you receive a bonus1617 of 5%. Other options include:

  • Amazon Gift Card (3% bonus)
  • American Express® Reward Card (3% bonus)
  • Gap eGiftCard (5% bonus)
  • Nike eGiftcard (5%)
  • Hotels.com eGiftcard (5%)
  • Petco eGiftcard (5%)
  • There’s also a bunch of other gift card options

Keep in mind this is an electronic gift card and not a physical gift card like the American Express option. Still might be worth at least considering for some readers.

Update: This will expire 6 months after being claimed. It also looks like you can actually pay $5 and get a physical card with your name on it ($1,000 maximum).

Please note that the virtual VGC cannot be added to your mobile wallet, I have tried. This makes it more difficult to use in-store.

Thought this was a 5% portal payout on VGCs :/

The same excited thought briefly flickered in my mind and was quickly extinguished. : )

It says it’s redeemable in-store, but I’ve had these before, and good luck!

My dentist’s office will just type in the card # if I show them a printout.

well, expires in 9 months if you draw it out. you have 3 months to claim from initial email, and then 6 months from claiming it. At least that’s what I got from the terms, but they could have been written poorly. so if you’re currently working on a min spend like i am, i can just wait until 3 months/whenever I’m done with that to use this one.

Screenshot appears to be a 1.9% bonus?

$268.42/$263.30 – 1 = 1.94%?

I’m not familiar with TCB so maybe I’m missing something.

The $263.30 for those payout options includes a 3% bonus on the original value. The original value is $255.63, so $268.42 is the 5% bonus

Might be worthwhile to accumulate and payout a couple times a year via Vemno?

I got a virtual visa prepaid card from a promo on the other website, I was able to add the card to Venmo. Hope it works again!

Can anyone else confirm if they were able to add it to Venmo recently? if that’s the case, i can send it to a friend via venmo and get it back.

Worked for me on Venmo. Applies as a debit card with no fee.

Doesn’t seem useful in a big way, but I could see a couple of situations where this might be worth doing.

– Using for anything you would buy already, but isn’t a 5% category.
1. General online shopping.
2. Paying phone, internet or utility bills. *
3. Ebay shopping.

As always, only buy if you have a plan to liquidate quickly. Far too many scams around to risk losing your money.

* Of course assuming you don’t already have a high cash back card for these.

Haven’t used a virtual VISA GC recently but I’ve successfully used them with Bluebird reloads before many times. I’m assuming we’re still able to do so.

After you chose virtual Visa card ,TCP will send you email ( around 3days later ) . You could choose physical card ( flat fee $5 , max $1k ) . The card will have your name printed on it .

I already got mine and it works like a charm when I loaded it at DG with serve.

But TopCashBack intentionally pays out a below market rate on GC.com and GCM.com cashback %s. Who would use them?

Used to get these when I had fee free Square processing.

This is now increased to 7%bonus… still not sure it’s worth the hassle.

Now only if they’d increase their % back at GC.com to 1% on VGC like everyone else, I’d go back to using them.

They are just so slow. I have purchases from July that have cahsback still pending.

Yep same here. One is a hulu purchase that Is pending 3 months later for lord knows what reason. Slowest portal in the business… makes swagbucks seem fast and efficient.
