Via MillionMileSecrets there’s currently an opportunity for Bank of America credit and debit cardholders to get 10% off up to $150 at Kmart with Bank AmeriDeals. Bank AmeriDeals is similar to Amex Offers where you save an offer on your Bank of America card before using it, and then you get the credit posted automatically to your account.
Kmart sells lots of gift cards too, so you should be able to buy those gift cards at a 10% discount. They also carry some lower denomination Visa and Mastercard gift cards, so depending what denominations you find, it could be worthwhile purchasing them.
Offer expires a few days into February.
Lowes
ChasingThePoints reported that there’s a similar offer from Bank AmeriDeals for Lowe’s. Up to $800 of spend and you’ll get 10% back. Lowe’s sells lots of gift cards too, including gas gift cards. They have Shell and BP, and I think Gulf as well. From memory, I don’t think they have Visa/Mastercard/Amex gift cards.
Offer expires Feb. 10, 2015.
This could be a great way to get a discount at your favorite gas station or restaurant. ChasingThePoints mentions the additional option of buying the gas gift cards and selling them to a gift card reseller. You’ll net a tiny profit, but you’ll be earning free credit card points in the process.

Conclusion
I don’t have any Bank of America credit or debit cards, so I can’t take part in these offers. These Bank AmeriDeals offers are making me eyeball Bank of America more. I’d guess that within the year I’ll add one of their cards to my collection.
