Uber & Lyft Suspend Shared Rides

In a move that I thought would have been made days ago, Uber & Lyft have both announced that their shared ride offerings will be suspended. Uber will also be offering expanded sick pay for drivers who are quarantined or infected by the virus. I’m not quite sure how you offer sick pay to somebody that isn’t an ’employee’ but I guess it’s good to see them make that move.
