Uber Now Officially Supports Multiple Stops

Uber has been trying to desperately improve their product recently, most of the changes have been focused towards drivers but they have just released a positive change focused towards riders. The Uber app now officially supports multiple stops. You can now add up to three stops to your journey (either before you request a ride or during the ride). To use the feature do the following:

  • Hit Where to?
  • Hit +
  • Add the addresses of your stops

I’ve never had any issues just asking an Uber driver to make multiple stops, but this should makes things easier. It also makes it easier if I want to pay for a ride and get out first (again this was possible previously). It’s also a good move for drivers because previously people could make these requests and then riders could claim that the faster router wasn’t taken. I like that Uber is trying to improve their product, the reason that people loved it so much when it first launched is that the taxi industry had failed to innovate for about 50 years. Uber is also launching a new credit card next month.

I have had this feature on Android for over 3 weeks or more. Love it. So much easier than modifying final destination. Hope ppl don’t abuse it and get it taken away!

I wonder if it mandates that the driver wait at each stop for a few minutes. For example, drop me off at the store to pick up a bottle of wine before taking me to the party.

You can still do it, if you don’t mind a 1 star rating from your driver.
