Looks like this isn’t working any more. It just asks you to sign in (even if you are signed in) and then you get an error.

Could be a decent deal from smaller airports, but cash pricing on many of these flights esp. from big airports will be pretty low anyways.

Interesting perk for cardholders in addition to expanded award availability.

Is this the first time they’ve done this?

I only looked at ZRH and GVA, and I could find many options to/from both MKE and CID. So this seems to work from smaller airports, not just international hubs. And I am a little impressed with the IT because the same flights price as 30K one-way but 22.5K when part of a round-trip. Likewise, flying into ZRH and back from GVA did not give me the discounted prices. So, overall not a bad price especially if you live far from a hub, but I did not see any obvious ways to trick the system. Obviously fairly limited on the dates.

I wonder what im doing wrong. I have logged in to my MP account and set flexible dates for BRU and ZUR from JFK and DIA and am not getting anything under 600 bucks?

I also tried to do open jaw with the same result, only works roundtrip. Lots of dates for DTW based flyers

It works some in Multi-City (Excursionist). The out leg is normal price, the leg in Europe is still free, and the return flight is 22.5. I got London 30K, London to Prague on LH Free, and Paris to IAD 22.7. I guess they can’t decide if Multi-City is roundtrip for the terms or not so they split the difference lol.

As usual, the Excursionist perk on United is the best deal in reward programs.
