United are offering a bonus of 1,000 miles when you spend $250 or more. There are some important exclusions:
- Must be a first time shopper
- Must be a Chase United cardholder

Offer valid to first-time Shoppers only from November 1, 2016, through December 31, 2016, at 11:59:59 pm Eastern Time (the “Bonus Period”).
Offer limited to MileagePlus® Chase Cardmembers only. To participate, you must be a member of MileagePlus.
During the Bonus Period, Member will earn a one-time bonus of one thousand (1,000) MileagePlus bonus award miles (the “Bonus Miles”) after making a qualifying purchase(s) through MileagePlus Shopping totaling $250.00. Eligibility for the one-time bonus requires Member to login and make the qualifying purchase(s) through MileagePlus Shopping during the Bonus Period. Each MileagePlus Shopping mall account is eligible for a maximum of one (1) Bonus Miles reward for this offer. Returns, cancellations, shipping and handling, taxes, gift card or other cash-equivalent purchases, and certain products, are not included in the Bonus Miles eligibility calculation; please see the MileagePlus Shopping site for details on product eligibility and/or any coupon code details or other usage restrictions.
This offer is not from Chase. Chase is not responsible for the provision of, or failure to provide, the stated benefits and services. Bonus miles will post directly to your United MileagePlus account and will not appear on your Chase statement.

This offer sucks, why does it have so many exclusions? I hope this isn’t the new standard from United as this same offer was usually available multiple times per year and hitting $250 in spend is pretty easy. Keep in mind there is also a bonus that Delta is offering as well, with less restrictions.
