Numerous Wells Fargo student cardholders are reporting having their cards automatically converted to the new Wells Fargo Active Cash card. When contacting Wells Fargo they are being told that letters have been sent out communicating these changes and card numbers and all other details are remaining the same. This is actually an improvement as the student card earns 1% back and the active cash earns 2% back.
