Update 2/12/20: More people have been targeted with the promo code WELCOMEB2B. Hat tip to reader Roman M
The Offer
Direct Link to offer – this link might work (affiliate links are contained in this post)
Amazon is offering on their business accounts the following deal:
- Get 15% off your purchase on an item sold by Amazon by using promo code: STOCKUPB2B. Max $75 discount.
The terms technically limit this to a single item purchased, but reportedly it’s working on separate purchases (up to the $75 max), in practice.
You might see it pop up as a deal on the Amazon site, as below. Or you can try applying the promo code at checkout. Or the direct link might work.
The Fine Print
- Offer expires at 11:59 p.m. (PT) February 15, 2019.
- Offer only applies to products sold by Amazon.com or Amazon Digital Services LLC (look for “sold by Amazon.com” or “sold by Amazon Digital Services LLC” on the product detail page). Products sold by third-party sellers or other Amazon entities will not qualify for this offer, even if “fulfilled by Amazon.com” or “Prime Eligible”.
- Offer does not apply to digital content.
- Offer good while supplies last.
- Shipping charges and taxes may apply to the full value of discounted and free promotional items.
- Items must be purchased in a single order and shipped at the same speed to a single address.
- The maximum benefit you may receive from this offer is $75.
- Offer only valid for invited Amazon customers who have received this offer directly from Amazon through email or online display advertisements.
- Amazon reserves the right to modify or cancel the offer at any time.
- Offer is non-transferable and may not be resold.
- Offer discount will be allocated proportionally among all promotional items in your order.
- If any of the products or content related to this offer are returned, your refund will equal the amount you paid for the product or content, subject to applicable refund policies. If you violate any of these terms, the offer will be invalid.
- Unless an Amazon Gift Card is the stated benefit of the promotion, promotional codes (including those placed directly in accounts) may not be redeemed for Amazon Gift Cards.
Our Verdict
Not positive if the direct link will show the deal clearly (it was first noticed by some SD users), but it might/should show up for you on individual pages if you have an Amazon business account. It’s possible if you signup for a business account now you’ll get the deal; we’ll need to wait for data points on how widely available this deal is as it might be targeted to select Amazon business users. Let us know if it works for you.
Reports indicate this 15% deal can even stack with the 20% Amex Shop-With-Points deal which is pretty incredible.
This deal works on most third party gift cards, but not Amazon or Visa gift cards. Samples gift cards available on Amazon:

None of these codes worked for me:
WELCOMEB2B
STOCKUPB2B
STOCKUPTODAY
I was successful with code: STOCKUPTODAY
But I did receive it via email to the address registered w/my Amazon Business account.
doesn’t work.. tried on multiple business accounts.. used the DoC Amazon affiliate links
Failed to work on my end. ”
The promotional code you entered is not valid.”
Same.
Didn’t work for me
Amazon sent me an email last week asking if I wanted to open a Business Account. I don’t actually “need” one for my business. But maybe I now do. 🙂 Is their any downside to opening one? Will they even ask me to provide any information about my business?
Doesn’t work for me, spoke w/ rep. at Amazon and she said she never heard of it and “business.amazon.com” is not a valuid domain. I know it’s a valid email.
No they won’t ask you anything but obviously you shouldn’t use the same email address for both personal and biz accounts.
I guess its ymmv. They did verify my business. It took about 12-24hrs. I got a hit that someone pulled my D&B.
No luck, either
Doesn’t work for my business account either.
Didn’t work on my long established business account
“The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.”
+1 for a newly-opened business account. Will try again in a day or two.
Same here for Lowe’s physical and e-gift cards.
