Deal has expired, view more Amazon deals by clicking here.

Update 7/14/19: Offer now valid until September 6th, 2019. Seems more  people are targeted and you should be able to do the deal even if you’ve done it before.

The Offer

Direct link to offer (affiliate link)

  • Get $10 off at Amazon when you change your 1-click payment settings to a Wells Fargo credit or debit card

The Fine Print

  •  For a limited time, when you set your Wells Fargo card as the default 1-Click payment method at Amazon.com, you will receive a $10 credit on your next eligible Amazon.com purchase made on or before July 31, 2019. Restrictions apply, see below for details.

Our Verdict

Should pop up in app if you’re eligible, if anybody finds a direct link that works please share it in the comments below. Last time this was offered was in late 2017. Basically just a free $10 to Amazon if you are eligible. For a full list of other Amazon promotions click here.

The current offer states credit card only, debit no longer listed. Tried with a debit card and it says I don’t have any cards eligible or something along those lines.

I’m not eligible for this promotion using my WF debit card because their banner states the promo only applies to WF credit cards.

Looks like only credit card works, not debit card in the most recent batch according to the link.

I received this offer today in the app. I have a Cash Wise… it wasn’t already added to my account. I used the above link and checked it again… it said I wasn’t eligible. Perhaps it said ineligible on that account because it was previously targeted? I’ll report when I find out more… maybe my dps can be of value to others. John 3:16

Also seeing the not eligible message, trying both before and after I added my Propel WF card to my account. (Before, I tried on my laptop; after, I tried on my iPhone, both in the app as well as the browser.) I’ll give it some time since it runs through July, keep checking periodically (and maybe make a purchase with it per JJM292’s post to see if that’ll help).

Haven’t yet seen this offer pop up, but I was just browsing through some items on Amazon via my laptop and saw a banner for the Discover version (just above the questions and answers section): “Save $10 at Amazon when you change your default payment method to an eligible Discover card.” I have previously done the Discover offer, though I don’t recall how long it’s been, so I was surprised to see it come around for me again.

I was targeted, and have previously done others (amex, discover…. I think possibly more than once?)

On the landing page, it says “eleigible Wells Fargo credit card,” not “credit or debit” like in the screenshot. Yesterday I added a WF debit (along with a WF biz credit card, as those are the only WF cards I currently have) as a payment method to see if I could get targeted, but no dice. I’ll leave them in my profile and check again in a week just to be thorough.

Mine says the same. Only credit card. I added debit but no dice (at this time at least)

Thank you. I saw that on my account. However when I tried to add a CASH WISE, or VISA Signature card, it gives me the error below. No sure which Wells Fargo cards would qualify???

To claim your offer, you must select a Wells Fargo credit card.

I don’t see anywhere on the offer that indicates that a debit card would qualify. It specifically states multiple times “Wells Fargo Consumer Credit Card”…unless changing the card setting in Amazon to not run as debit would work

Didn’t work for me on two different accounts.
