Chuck  William Charles It seems like a new targeted promo (https://www.amazon.com/b?node=21608163011&ref=US_Incent_eGC_MAPLE_DVC_50-5_RF) for sending an amazon GC of $50 via email, NOT text like this deal, while using the code GCOFFER2021.

Terms include: Congratulations! You are eligible for the $5 promotional credit. To qualify, you must:

(1) Enter GCOFFER2021 at checkout or click the button below to qualify.
(2) Send someone at least $50 in Amazon.com eGift Cards in a single order at Amazon.com by May 7, 2021, 11:59 PM (PT).

An email notification will be sent within three (3) days after the gift card is claimed by the recipient, confirming your Amazon.com Promotional Credit.

The promotional credit is restricted to the recipient of this offer only and may not be shared or transferred. Limit one promotional credit per Amazon.com account. Terms and Conditions apply; scroll down to learn more.

What I did was this. I bought a $50 Amazon gift card (with my Amazon Prime Store Card, which automatically gives 5% off) with this and got the $5 credit today. So total it would automatically deduct $55 from my purchase price on my Amazon account. I bought a Lowe’s eGift Card which I set at $55 and paid nothing.

So $50 Amazon gc for 95% (get 5% back) ends up being $47.50. I got $55 value for $47.50, for a net gain of $7.50. Not too shabby!

Can you buy an Amazon GC with an Amazon GC? Wondering if I can utilize the 5x on UE card @ grocery stores right now.

It looks like it applies also to multiple gift cards sent by text as long as total is at least 50 dollars. I added 25, 10, and 15 and code and this appeared at checkout “Qualifying offers Thank you for treating someone to an Amazon.com Gift Card. Now we’re treating you to a $5 promotional credit automatically applied to your account, and good for eligible products sold by Amazon.com.”

Brilliant! I wonder what gift cards are at USPS. 20% off is fantastic.

Same–the Amazon deals announced here never work for me.

Could it be that Amazon only targets people who haven’t purchased anything in a long time?
