- Open a new Fulton Bank savings account and receive a bonus of $100 when you complete the following requirements:
- Deposit $500, must have $500 on deposit after 60 days after account opening
The Fine Print
- This offer is valid for new consumer savings accounts.
- All money deposited at account opening must be new money to the bank.
- Promotion is limited to one $100 cash bonus per household/address.
- Fulton Financial Corporation employees and immediate family members sharing a household are not eligible.
- May not be combined with any other offer. Offer may be withdrawn without notice.
- This offer is valid when you open a new consumer savings account between October 30, 2017 and December 22, 2017.
- We will credit one $100 bonus to your savings account if 60 days after account opening you have a new money balance of at least $500.
- New money is defined as funds not on deposit with Fulton Financial Corporation at time of account opening.
- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them
Avoiding Fees
There is a $6 monthly fee on the statement savings account, this is waived with a $100 minimum daily balance.
Early Account Termination Fee
I can find no references to an early account termination fee on their website, nor other websites covering bank bonuses.
Our Verdict
We’ve seen checking bonuses for $150 from Fulton before, but never a savings bonus. This seems super easy to complete, I wonder if online applications will work for people who didn’t receive the e-mail? Probably not, but worth considering I guess. I’ll likely add this to the best savings sign up bonuses if other readers can confirm being able to get this offer in branch.
