In the promotion that you’re sending for $25 off a $45 order at Instacart, you fail to mention that only first time Instacart customers are eligible. It’s false advertising. You’re famous for it when it comes to these promos. Language matters. Use your words. Show me where, in the email I received, where it says you must be a first time user. I was in marketing and advertising for 59+ years, your offer should be stated simply, in its totality, not hide the most important detail and force consumers to go thru the fine print with a fine-toothed comb. Be honest. Its inconceivable to me that Instacart customer service had absolutely no clue of the promotion, they had me sending them photos. Then said it’s because I’m not a first time user of Instacart. I asked them to point out exactly where this appears in the document, they haven’t. If it’s not in my email, I expect you to honor your promotion. Something stinks.

Does anyone know if instacart promo codes are applied at checkout time or only after pickup/delivery?
I have a promo code that expires tomorrow at 2AM but I plan to pickup at 10AM. It seems to apply okay to my order
but I want to make sure it would not be removed. Thanks.
Thanks. I tested and can confirm that the promo code was applied at checkout. It was intact even though expiration time was before the actual pickup time. Only the final product price was adjusted (due to different weight) after pickup.
It’s a scam, at least that’s my experience. I’ve fallen for so many of these and never get the discount. And they can’t tell me why. Ergo . . . Worthless, typical.
