Not sure what sort of Crypto rates PayPal is offering, but my guess is that they won’t be that attractive. Probably still worth doing this deal if you’re eligible though.

Took about 4 biz days to get the email confirming the bonus, while it appears in the past others got it instantaneously. Did deal around 5/3. Was worried as I would add the offer to my account, get confirmation it was added, but then would still show up as an available offer yet to be added.

I got the bonus after buying $100 in bitcoin after a few days. Didn’t read the terms well so was expecting it as cash in my account but it’s a $25 credit when you purchase something. I sent myself an Uber eats gift card to cash it out.
I and my friends never got the bonus. Do not recommend to try

What are the fees for selling the $100 crypto when you want to convert back to USD.
I think I’ve already done this deal in past times for all three of my Paypal accounts. Is anyone who took advantage of it before getting the deal again?
I got the offer. Do I do it, or not? Don’t know anything about crypto. It gives me the choice of 4 cryptos – Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash, so I’m already confused.
It’s worth doing even if you don’t know or care about crypto. Buy $100 of crypto (any of them, doesn’t matter) get the extra $25 worth, immediately exchange the whole lot of it for cash, profit. About the only risk is that in the seconds between buying and selling, the price drops more than, say, 20% which even in wacky crypto markets seems unlikely. YMMV.
if you resell it shortly after you buy, there will be little change in price. keep in mind that paypal charges a $2.50 transaction fee on each end (so $5 total).
worst case, you’ll net roughly $15, plus the added aggravation of dealing with paypal’s stupid csv tax form net year.
Thanks for the advice. I’m all gung-ho for my $20-$25 payday, and had “saved” the offer, but I don’t know where it “saved to.” Guess I’ll wait for the promo offer to reappear at some point.
I was targeted for the $25 offer…checked my mom’s account for her and she was not. When I signed into her account…she was targeted
for $6 to be added to her account. The offer stated that only accounts with a balance were eligible for this promo. She hasn’t used her account in years…I’m guessing that may have had something to do with it as well. WWJD
